Madaba Walking Trail

The Madaba Walking Trail is a good way to discover on foot some of the towns' history and culture. The trail starts and ends at the Visitor Centre Madaba and takes you to 11 spots: the Institute of Mosaic Art and Restoration (1), Artisan Street with its handicraft shops (2), the Archaeological Park with Byzantine church remains (3), the Church of St George (4), the first restaurant in Madaba called Abu Yousef (5), the excavation Tal Madaba (6), the Madaba Museum (7), the Catholic John the Baptist Church (8), the Saraya Building (9) the small Madaba Art Gallery (10) and the Al Hussein Bin Talal Mosque (11).  This is a copy from the Madaba Walking Trail brochure.
