Four Days Holy Land Tour


Program 2: 4 Days from Allenby Bridge to Sheik Hussein Border


Day 01: Allenby Bridge - Jerusalem Old City - Bethlehem – Jerusalem Hotel
After meet & assist by our guide outside the border terminal drive to The Holy City Jerusalem. We start with a panoramic view from The Mount of Olives – a good place for an introduction to the city and its history. Then we visit the holy sites of the three monotheistic religions, represented in Jerusalem: We start with the Wailing Wall, which represents the last remnants of the Jewish Temple, destroyed by the Romans. Usually you can see the various types of Jews who come to worship at this holy place. Then we continue through the Arab Market ("Suq") to the "Via Dolorosa", Jesus' "Way of Suffering", which leads us to The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where according to the Christian tradition Jesus was crucified and buried. After lunch we drive to Bethlehem, the Birth town of Jesus Christ. Here we visit the Church of the Nativity, including the Grotto of the Mangery. This church is the oldest church in the world, which was never destroyed till this very day. Important: This visit can be cancelled without prior notice due to security regulations or other reasons which are not under our control. Overnight in Jerusalem.



Day 02: Jerusalem New City - Ein Karem - Jerusalem Hotel (B)
This day is dedicated to Jerusalem's New City: We visit the the famous "Menorah" (Candelabra) situated outside the "Knesset", Israel's parliament. Then a visit at the Israel Museum with the" Shrine of the Book", where the "Dead Sea Scrolls" are exhibited, the Model of Jerusalem at the time of the 2nd Temple, we drive to the Picturesque village Ein Karim, the place where John the Baptist was born. We will visit the "St. John in the Mountains" church, built on the place where the house of St. John was standing. We will also visit the Church of Visitation, where St. Mary visited Elisabeth out in the vineyard, and prophesized her birth of St. John. Overnight Jerusalem.

Day 03: Old Jaffa – Caesarea – Megiddo - Nazareth/Tiberias Hotel (B)
After breakfast we visit old city of Jaffa, one of the ancient gateways to the Holy Land: Through its port the Cedar trees for Salomon's Temple were brought, the prophet Jonas tried to flee God, but most important: It was in Jaffa where Christianity began to be spread among the nations. Here St. Peter lived in the house of Simon the Tanner and had the "Vision of the Flesh", and here he made his first miracle by healing the little girl. Today Jaffa's renovated alley-ways attract many artists, who have their galleries there. We drive to Caesarea Maritima, the magnificent port-city built by King Herod the Great. From here St. Peter went to Rome and started with his first miracles. In Caesarea's well-preserved theater an inscription of the procurator Pontius Pilate was found. We continue to Tell Meggido, one of Israel's most ancient cities, where we can find traces of fortifications left by the Canaanites, King Salomon, King Ahab, and more, as well as a very sophisticated water system, some claim was built by the king Salomon. This strategic place has always been the scenery of war, and according to John's Revelation it is here where the last battle shall take place, the battle of Armaggedon. Overnight Nazareth or Tiberias.

Day 04: Nazareth – Kana - Mt. Of Beatitudes – Tabhga - Sheik Hussein Border (B)
After early breakfast, transfer to Nazareth, Begin the day with a walking tour of Nazareth including the Church of Annunciation, The old city and the Market (suq), on the way from Nazareth we will pass through Kana and Continue to Capernaum for a visit to Peter's House, than we will go to visit the Church on the Mt. of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount took place, Tabhga, the Church of the Primacy and the Church of the Multiplication. Late afternoon,transfer to Sheik Hussein Border to cross back into Jordan. 


Three Days Holy Land Tour


Program 1: 03 Days from Allenby Bridge to Allenby Bridge/ Tel Aviv Airport

Day 1: Allenby Bridge - Jerusalem Old City – Jerusalem Hotel 
After meet & assist at Allenby, drive to Jerusalem. We start with an introduction to the city from the top of The Mount of Olives, and then walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane. We also visit the "Wailing Wall", the last remnants of the Temple in Jerusalem. If the current situation allows it, we will try to visit the Temple Mount as well. We continue in the footsteps of Jesus along the Stations of the Via Dolorosa, Jesus' "Way of Suffering", and unto the Church of the Holy Sepulcure, where Jesus was crucified and buried. The Via Dolorosa also passes through the Old City's oriental "Suq" (Bazaar). At the end of the day we visit King David's Tomb and the "Room of the Last Supper", the Ceanaculum. Overnight in Jerusalem.



Day 2: Bethlehem - Ein Karem – Jerusalem Hotel (B)
We travel to Bethlehem, where we first visit the ancient Church of the Nativity, where we can really touch the very place where Jesus was born. Built by St. Helena already in the 4th century, it has been an active church and never destroyed ever since! Here St. Hieronymus wrote the first Latin translation of the Bible – the "Volgata". We shall also visit the "Milk Grotto" and the "Shepherds Fields". Please note that the tour to Bethlehem can be cancelled without prior notice due to security circumstances. Returning to Jerusalem we drive to the picturesque village Ein Karim, the place where John the Baptist was born. We will visit the "St. John in the Mountains" church, built on the place where the house of St. John was standing. We will also visit the Church of Visitation, where St. Mary visited Elisabeth out in the vineyard, and prophesized her the birth of St. John. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 3: Jerusalem Hotel - Allenby Bridge OR Ben Gurion Airport (B)
Breakfast at hotel, check out, transfer to Allenby Bridge to cross back into Jordan or to Ben Gurion Airport.

The Blessed Tree

Near the town Safawi, in the area of Mafraq, east of Amman you can find The Blessed Tree. Here Prophet Mohammad met as a young boy Bahira, the Christian monk who foretold his career as prophet. The meeting happened in the shade of a tree, when Mohammad was traveling with a caravan from Mecca to Damascus with his uncle Abu Talib.

Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman Hotel
Our representative welcomes you with a signage at Amman Airport, assists you through immigration and customs and matches with your escort. Transfer about 30 minutes to your Amman Hotel, check in, remainder of the day free.

Day 2: Amman City Tour – Jerash – Amman Hotel (B)
Start the day with a city tour in Jordan's capital. Amman, already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath Ammon, is a bustling modern city. The historical places are located in downtown, where we visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period. Then we have a round in the Archaeological Museum. We stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, to the Roman Theatre from 2nd century with 6000 seats. We leave to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. Day 3: Amman Hotel – Mt Nebo - Madaba – Hammamat Ma’in – Petra Hotel (B)
Morning time we drive to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. After we proceed to Madaba, where to find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. 40 minutes ride to Hammamat Ma’in, this hot freshwater mineral spring and waterfall lies 264 metres (870 ft) below sea level. Free time at the public pools before we hit the road to Petra. Overnight Petra Hotel.

Day 4: Petra visit – Petra Hotel (B)
After breakfast to the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. With the guide pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. The guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area; free time to explore Petra on your own. Overnight Petra.



Day 5: Petra Hotel – Wadi Rum jeep ride – Dead Sea Hotel (B)
Morning time we 1.5 hours southwards to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Here still Bedouins live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep tour you discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Proceed to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, check in at your hotel.

Day 6: Dead Sea Leisure (B)
Breakfast and overnight at hotel – no other services provided.
With 400 meters below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth, where ever since the days of Herod the Great, people have flocked to in search of its curative secrets. The area is characterized by high annual temperatures, low humidity and high atmospheric pressure, the air is extremely oxygen rich. With the highest content of minerals and salts in the world, the Dead Sea water possesses anti-inflammatory properties, and the dark mud found on its shores have been used for over 2000 years for therapeutic purposes.
